NORTH TRIPURA DISTRICT POLYTECHNIC

North Tripura District Polytechnic is one of the technical institutes in the country as well as the 5th (fifth) technical institute of Tripura state and is the very first Diploma Level Technical Institute under Department of Higher Education at the District of North Tripura which established in the year of 2014. The Institute is situated with 10 acres of land at the prime location in between Bagbasa and Noagang near NH-44 amid the greenery. The three wing system building infrastructure along with separate workshops of this Institute has been fully developed and the architectural beauty of the same is one of its kind. The building infrastructure of this Polytechnic Institute has been developed from the financial assistance under Thirteenth Finance Commission. The Institute has got approval from AICTE for academic session 2014-15 on April 2014. Three core departments i.e. Civil Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering have been introduced from academic session 2014-15 and received approval with 60 intake capacities for each branch from the AICTE, New Delhi. The institute is affiliated to Tripura University (A Central University). The Polytechnic Institute is committed to technical empowerment of the local youths and the state as well.
